The Lauderdale County ARES group meets on the fourth Tuesday
Night of each month at 7:00PM at the Florence Municipal Building.
The meeting takes place in the Florence/Lauderdale EMA meeting
room located in the basement. For more information send an e-mail

A training and informational ARES net
is held each Tuesday night at 1900(CST) on the 146.610 repeater.
All Amateur Radio Operators are welcome
to check in to the ARES net or attend the meeting!!
The Emergency Operations Center
The Amateur Radio Station at the Florence/Lauderdale EMA
Emergency Operations Center covers all amateur bands from 160M
thru 70cm (1.8MHz - 446MHz). Up to date weather
information is available to EOC workers through satellite and
Internet connected computer systems.


ARES Members
ARES members come from all walks of life but share a common
interest in providing a service to the community.
Their unique combination of technical skill plus a
desire to help others is of great value to the communities they
serve.
An open house
was held on February 15th 2003 for all amateur radio operators.
We are proud to showcase our newly renovated facilities, and some
new equipment.
